Ownward Desk — Terms of service

These terms govern the use of Ownward Desk, the desktop app and its back office (admin.ownward.ch) published by Ownward.
The service
Ownward Desk lets Ownward team members track time, manage todos and projects, plan days, record meetings and prepare client reports, in sync with the Ownward back office. Optional features, such as reading Google calendars, are enabled only by the user.
Access
The app is reserved for people Ownward gives an account to. You keep your credentials confidential and are responsible for the activity carried out with your account. Ownward may suspend an access that is misused or no longer justified.
Acceptable use
You use Ownward Desk for professional purposes, in compliance with the law, the confidentiality owed to clients and the rights of third parties. You do not attempt to access data you are not entitled to, to disrupt the service or to bypass its security measures.
Third-party services
When you connect a Google account, Google's own terms also apply to that account. Ownward Desk's access is read-only, limited to the calendars you choose, and can be withdrawn at any time; the handling of this data is described in the privacy policy.
Content and data
Data you enter remains the property of Ownward or of its clients, as provided in the contracts concerned. Ownward processes it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Availability and changes
Ownward does its best to keep the service available and secure, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change; significant changes are announced in the app.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Ownward is not liable for indirect damage, and its liability is limited to direct damage resulting from a proven fault.
Changes to these terms and applicable law
