AI-native application development
Software in weeks. Code you keep.
A custom business application used to mean months and a budget nobody wanted to sign. Working with LLMs and coding agents, we now build useful applications in weeks, with senior engineers reviewing every step, and hand you a codebase your team owns.
Custom business applications built with Claude Code, Cursor, Cline and Codex, in your private GitHub repository with CI/CD on GitHub Actions, deployed on Vercel and Supabase or on your sovereign cloud.
Who this is for
- Teams stuck between a spreadsheet and an ERP
- The process is too specific for off-the-shelf software and too important to keep in a spreadsheet. A small application, built around how the work really happens, closes the gap.
- Companies paying for SaaS seats nobody needs
- Five people edit, a hundred read. A custom internal tool with the right access rules often costs less than the subscriptions it replaces, and it does exactly what you need.
- Leaders who want to own their software
- No black box, no vendor holding the keys. Your repository, your data model, your infrastructure choice, your team able to keep improving it, with Ownward available when it gets technical.
How we build
The tools changed. The engineering discipline did not. Coding agents write fast; senior engineers decide what gets built, review what is written and keep the architecture sound.
01
Start from one real workflow
We follow a piece of work from start to finish: a customer request, an order, a monthly close. We agree on the data model, the roles and the first useful screen. The first version is scoped to ship in weeks, not to cover everything.

02
Build with coding agents, review like engineers
Claude Code, Cursor, Cline or Codex write against a documented repository: architecture notes, conventions, tests and agent instructions live next to the code. Every change goes through a pull request, automated checks and human review before it reaches your users.

03
Ship where your data should live
By default we deploy on Vercel and Supabase, with EU regions and preview environments for every change. When confidentiality or policy requires it, the same application runs on sovereign European cloud providers or on your own on-premise infrastructure.

What you get
- A private GitHub repository in your organisation from day one, with the full Git history: the code is yours, not ours.
- CI/CD with GitHub Actions: tests, type checks, lint and deployments run on every pull request, with preview URLs your team can click before anything goes live.
- An application built for the long run: a relational data model, row-level access rules, backups and a rollback path. No disposable prototype.
- Documentation people and agents can use: getting started, data model, decisions and operations, plus AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md so the next change, by your team or by an agent, follows the same rules.
- A team that can keep going: your developers or technical contributors learn the codebase as it is built; Ownward stays available for architecture, complex changes and escalation.
Questions we hear before we start
Who owns the code?
You do. We work in a private GitHub repository inside your organisation, with your access rules. If you prefer to start in an Ownward repository for speed, the transfer is part of the handover, never an extra.
Is this "vibe coding"?
No. Coding agents accelerate the writing; they do not replace engineering. We keep a data model, tests, reviewed pull requests, a CI pipeline that blocks broken changes, backups and a rollback path. An application you can still maintain in two years is the goal.
How fast is "in weeks"?
A first useful version of one workflow is typically scoped to a few weeks. What makes it possible is the scope, not a shortcut: one process, one shared data model, one team using it and giving feedback. The rest is added in short cycles.
Do we have to host on Vercel and Supabase?
No. It is our default because previews, releases and access rules are excellent and the regions can be European. The same application can run with sovereign operators such as Cloud Temple or Blue, on OVHcloud, Infomaniak, Exoscale, Scaleway, or on your own servers when your policy requires it.
What happens if we stop working with Ownward?
You keep the repository, the pipelines, the documentation and the infrastructure accounts, which are opened in your name. Autonomy is designed in from the start; it does not depend on renewing with us.
Which tools do you use to code?
Claude Code, Cursor, Cline and Codex, with the model chosen for the task. The repository carries the instructions those agents follow, so your team can use the same tools after the handover.
